fnewz is a client-side web application that visualises geo-tagged news based on data from The GDELT Project. The service does not require a user account and does not intentionally collect personally identifying information such as names, addresses, or contact details.

Analytics

fnewz uses Google Analytics to understand how the application is used and to improve the experience. Analytics may record information such as your approximate location, device type, browser, pages visited, and interactions with the map and filters.

Analytics cookies and events are only enabled if you choose “Allow analytics” in the cookie banner. If you select “Use essential only”, only functionality required for the site to operate is used.
